MAC 217 Blending brush- This is probably my favorite brush for eyes.  It's the perfect brush for blending (obviously), and it's also amazing with shading too. The reason I like it so much, is because its soft, nicely dense and tapered,  which allows you to blend your products very precisely.


MAC 219 Pencil Brush- This brush was different to any other pencil brush I had before. Its dense and small enough to give you precision, and yet its really soft.


MAC 239 Eye Shader Brush- Probably the greatest thing about this brush is its versatility and outstanding performance in every use you have in mind. Perfect for packing on color on the eyelids. This one is also dense and soft, and my best friend to build intense color on the upper lash line and line the eyes on the lower lash line.

MAC 217 Blending brush- Esta brocha es una de mis brochas favoritas para los ojos. Es perfecta para difuminar y mezclar las sombras (obviamente), pero tambien es perfecta para aplicar y dar sombras a los ojos.  Es una brocha suave y suficientemente densa para mezclar los colores de las sombras de manera precisa.


MAC 219 Pencil Brush- Esta brocha me sorpendio porque es muy diferente a otras brochas de tipo lapiz que he usado.  La diferencia principal radica en que es mas pequena, y mas densa que otras (Por ejemplo la brocha de lapiz de Mary Kay). Esto permite una aplicacion mucho mas precisa y limpia.


MAC 239 Eye Shader Brush- Probablemente lo mejor de esta brocha es su versatilidad y su desempeno en cada uno de los propositos para los que se puede utlizar. Es perfecta para poner color intenso sobre las pestanas, o para delinear las pestanas de abajo con sombra.

TIP

-When using products with this kind of texture, 

it's extremely important to remember that you have

This is an amazing product! It will help you create a very smooth surface on your face, hiding large pores and fine lines.  When ever I use this product, I find that I use less foundation and that makeup runs a lot easier on my face. 

This is the kind of surface you will get after you blend the primer on your skin.

This is a very nice palette for someone who is starting and wants to experiment with colors. The color selection on eye shadows and lips its amazing!. The staying power is in general good, but I find that I HAVE to wear primer for the eye shadows, otherwise the color wont show (I am an NW30-35).

 I bought mine on sale though Nordstrom website. I'm pretty sure they launch a new palette every season. The new one is quite smaller than this one. It retails for $35dls, mine was on sale for $27 and if you go to Nordstrom Rack, you can find older palettes for $9....yes $9 dls!

Overall, I am happy with my purchase.  I think its great for experimenting with color and then using that experience for future purchases.

El estuche incluye una gama de colores muy bonita. Es perfecta para quien esta empezando a maquillarse o, para quien quiere experimentar con colores que quiza nuna ha usado. En general es un buen producto. El maquillage es de calidad media, y aplicados a la cara tienen una buena duracion del color.


La pueden conseguir en la pagina web de Nordstrom, e incluso en las tiendas Nordtrom Rack por un menor precio. La compania saca un estuche cada temporada, asi que hay muchas opciones, cada estuche es muy diferente al anterior.

Wow...this brush has really exceeded my expectations!, I find it to be the best foundation brush for light-watery foundations like my Estee Lauder Invisible Fluid. It blends the product perfectly leaving an airbrush effect.

Wow...esta brocha ha superado mis expectativas en muchas formas. Es muy versatil. La he usado con maquillaje muy liquido, como Estee Lauder Invisible Fluid y el efecto es impresionante, distribuye el maquillaje perfectamente sin dejar lineas en absoluto. Es en definitiva la mejor brocha que he usado para maquillaje liquido.

The other half of contouring is highlighting, and I really had a hard time finding the right one. The problem with me is that I am super picky when it comes to shimmer on my face. Don't get me wrong, I love shimmery eye shadows and I don't mind a blush with a little shimmer on it....but all the highlighters I tried before were just toooooo shimmery and way toooo obvios .

 One day,  I was at the mall and I stopped at Clarins counter, there was no people at all, so the lady there showed me lots of products,  and one of the products she showed me was Clarins instant light complexion perfector. The second she applied it on my hand to show me the product, I thought HG ...finally a subtle highlighter! This product can be used under or over foundation (as a primer or highlighter), the shade I have is  #00 Rose Shimmer and I love it for highlighting my cheekbones.

La otra parte mitad de contornear la cara es dar luz. Para esto trate y trate muchos productos. El problema, es que muchos de estos productos para dar luz (supongo que se llaman iluminadores en espanol), es que a veces tienen mucho brillo, como ponerte diamantina en la cara! y sinceramente no habia encontrado un producto que iluminara sutilmente tan bueno como Clarins instant light complexion perfector.

 Este producto puede usarse bajo o sobre el maquillaje (como base o como iluminador). Yo tengo el color  #00 Rose Shimmer y lo uso en C sobre el hueso de la mejilla para iluminar la cara y dar luz a los ojos.

Having a Round face, I have tried tons of products to contour my face. Most of them, were either too orange, or too shimmery, or just not right at all. So tired of trying and trying (and spending money), I ended up using a two-tone darker foundation than normal for contouring my face (which woks very good too). One day, I was searching online and I found extremely good reviews on a product for contouring the face called Powder Rouge shade contour no 1 by Ben Nye. Besides the reviews, the price also convinced me to order it ( I paid 9dls on ebay). So, What to I love about this product? Its the perfect shade to contour- not orange, not shimmery, just perfect for creating shadows where you need to.

I am really happy with this product and so far it is my favorite BUT....Ben nye has also a cream version that I am dying to try! It's called Creme Shadow, from their Mediapro collection. The cream comes in 5 different shades (which is perfect), but it's a little more expensive than the powder (It retails for $14 dls). 


You can find Ben Nye products  on ebay or at any theatrical makeup store.

Mi cara es redonda, y por ello desde hace mucho habia estado buscando un buen producto para darle contorno y alargala a travez de sombras. Durante mucho tiempo estuve buscando diferentes productos que siempre resultaban ser un poco naranjas o tenian brillo (las sombras no son naranjas ni tienen brillo obviamente). Este producto es fabuloso para dar sombras, el color es ideal y el precio es muy bueno (pague 9dls en ebay)

Este es mi maquillage favorito para dar contorno PERO....Ben Nye tiene una version en crema del mismo producto que muero por probar!.  La crema es parte de su coleccion Mediapro creme shadows y es ligeramente mas cara que el polvo ($14 dls)

About a month ago, I got a free makeover at an Estee Lauder counter. This product was introduced to me in that makeover. I was never a fan of bronzer...and I think it's only because the few bronzers I tried before had tons of shimmer, and I didn't liked them. So when I saw this product before the makeup artist applied it to my face, I wasn't  sure if I wanted to try it (because in the container the powder looked like it had some shimmer on it), but the minute I saw it applied, I totally loved it! IT's a very nice matte bronzer that looks super natural on the face.

 This is my favorite bronzer right now, which one is yours?

El mes pasado tuve un cambio de imagen gratuito en el Estee Lauder de una tienda departamental. Este fue uno de los productos usaron en ese cambio de imagen. Nunca habia sido muy afecta al bronzeador, la verdad rara vez lo habia usado, y creo que tiene que ver con que no habia encontrado el producto adecuado. Cuando vi el producto en el contenedor, dude como se veria en mi cara, estuve a punto de decirle a la senorita que no lo aplicara, pero, confie en ella y la verdad es que estoy muy contenta de no haberla detenido! Una vez aplicado, este bronzeador se ve super natural, y sirve muy bien para darle un poco de sombra y contrarelieve a la cara. Aplicarlo es facil, y viene con una brocha muy linda. En la pagina web de estee lauder, hay varios videos que explican la tecnica para aplicar el producto.
